The Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy is seeking to add members who are passionate about fishing, biking, and who have skills in fund raising/grant writing. Also persons who have available time to input data into the Volunteer Houston application. - If you are connected to fishing and biking organizations and enjoy the Greenway then we would love to have your leadership in making it a better place for people with these passions. - The Conservancy is embarking on greatly improving infrastructure, e.g. trails, roadways, parking, and the addition of amenities like the Levitt Music Pavilion, a pier, and a dog park. If you have experience in development/fund raising/grant writing, your skills would be highly appreciated. - The Conservancy has a very active volunteer program with conservation workdays, Boy Scout projects, and with the annual MusicFest. We need to improve time tracking, entering data into the Volunteer Houston application, and answering emails. The volunteer hours are often determinants in awarding grants. If you are interested in these endeavors, please email the Conservancy at info@willowwaterhole.org. The Willow Waterhole Greenway is a great place and it can become even better because of you!
